I was born in New Zealand on a mid-winters morning. My Growing up in the beautiful surroundings of New Zealand impacts my work until this day. I love to illustrate different landscapes and the people and animals that live there.

Another big influence has been growing up in a family of artists. Art has always been a part of my life. Over the years I spent many hours growing my art skills and observing the world around me.

Having studied early childhood education has become a further inspiration for my illustrations. It has enabled me to observe how children move and interact with each other. I spend a lot of time reading children's books and working with children also brings me closer to the way they see the world.

I love working with traditional as well as with digital media and bringing both together.

I hope to illustrate many children's books such as picture books and educational books. I am always looking for new and exiting opportunities.
